Manifesting & The Panorama Route

2020 has left me feeling helpless. We are all confined by #Covid19 , and our everyday freedom feels like a past luxury we used to take for granted. Living without freedom is not a sustainable way to live, so how do we regain our freedom when circumstances are out of our control? A short video by #DeepakChopra explains how we can manifest our desires, and turn our dreams into a reality.
Over the past month I have been manifesting a day filled with sunshine, laughter, friends and adventure. I thought about these simple pleasures every day, and surely enough the day I had been dreaming about materialised. So whether #Deepak is on to something or not, I want to share with you my best day so far during #lockdown.

My three best friends and I woke up at sunrise, packed the Land Rover, and drove to a small town in #Mpumalanga called #Graskop. The drive is about and hour and a half from #Nelspruit, through pine forests and #lowveld countryside. On the way you will pass #MacMac pools, which is a great place to stop if you want to picnic.
Just outside Graskop there is a loop that offers access to #LisbonFalls and #GodsWindow. It costs R15.00 (15 Rand - about 1$) per person to enter Lisbon Falls. You park your car and get your first view of the #waterfall from above. I don't recommend the hike down to the bottom of the waterfall if you are scared of heights, as there are sheer drop-offs. The walk is steep and you will need to wear closed shoes, but the view from the bottom is well worth it.

The water is crystal clear, and really cold. Lisbon Falls is peaceful and energising at the same time. The rocks offer a beautiful spot to enjoy a packed lunch, and the mist caused by the falling water catches the light creating #rainbows. We spent about two hours at the waterfall, soaking up the energy and the first feeling of freedom we had had in a long time.
After visiting Lisbon Falls we drove on to Gods Window, but unfortunately it was closed due to Corona Virus. While we only saw a glimpse of the natural beauty Graskop has to offer, we all felt recharged and like we had finally lived a day this year. So whether you believe in manifesting or not, I highly recommend that you picture yourself at the bottom of Lisbon Falls, reaching up towards the sunshine and taking a deep breath as you realise everything in the world will soon be okay. We have to remember that before we can live

3x pieces of litter were picked up on the walk back from the waterfall.
